A Two-Part Masterclass on Hoodoo for Career Success, Protection, and Prosperity

When you clock in, code-switch, and log onto your Teams app, do you think you’re in an alternate reality where Hoodoo ceases to exist?

Your ancestors are with you from the job search, interview, the first day, and the worst day of your job. You might not be able to plop your honey jar and machetes on a cubicle desk, but there are ways to still ensure success and protection on the job.

Rootwork in the Workplace is a two-part virtual masterclass where Black practitioners can learn how to create opportunities, exercise discernment, prosper professionally, and protect themselves within the workplace.

What this Class is about

The intention of this class is to ensure each student is able to have tools to secure employment, advance in their career, protect and defend themselves in toxic work environments, and connect our current struggles to ancestral solutions.

Most importantly, we will work.

These classes won’t just be two hours of me yapping. Students will analyze workplace scenarios, practice divination, write petitions, and examine spiritual strategies for creating effective workings.

Class One - Getting The Job

We will explore:

• Manifesting new employment

• Lamp work

• Road-opening work for blocked opportunities

• Attracting clients, contracts, bookings and customers

• Favor work for interviews, pitches and proposals

• Money-drawing and prosperity work

• Spiritually preparing résumés, applications and professional materials

• Divination methods

• Working with ancestors around employment and business

• Writing effective employment petitions and prayers

• Creating a job-getting mojo

Class Two - Keeping The Job

We will explore:

• Maintaining favor with supervisors, managers and decision-makers

• Honey and sugar jar work

• Workings for raises, promotions and recognition

• Increasing your professional influence and visibility

• Protecting yourself from workplace gossip and jealousy

• Addressing difficult coworkers and bad bosses

• Cleansing yourself after stressful or hostile workdays

• Creating an ongoing workplace protection practice

• Stopping harmful behavior and troublesome people

• Reversal and return work

• Removing an enemy or abusive boss from your path

• Divining whether escalation or retaliation is justified

For Entrepreneurs

Throughout both classes, we will also talk about utilizing these workings for entrepreneurship, including:

• Attracting clients and customers

• Securing contracts, bookings and partnerships

• Preparing for pitches and sales conversations

• Increasing business visibility and recognition

Who This Class Is For

Students ranging from newer practitioners to experienced rootworkers are welcome. However, this is not an introductory Conjure 101 course. We will move beyond foundational concepts and focus on their practical application.

This class is reserved exclusively for Black students.

It is intentionally designed as a Black learning space in which we can discuss spiritual technologies and applications.
