Rootwork is a practice within Hoodoo: roots, animals, herbs, prayer, petitions, and the help of Spirit(s) and the Ancestors, put to work on real problems. Every working below is built for your situation.
How every working goes
Divination first. Before anything is lit, mixed, or built, we read on your situation. The cards tell us whether this working is right for you, whether we're the right rootworkers for the job, and how the work should be done.
If we can't help. Sometimes the reading says no. If it does, we'll refund the cost of the spiritual work [-$50 of the cost of service] and tell you what we'd recommend doing next, whether that's a different working, a different practitioner, or something practical in your own life.
The work. If the reading gives us the go-ahead, we begin. You'll get updates from us as the working moves along.
Final follow-up. When the working ends, we send a final report: what we did, what we saw, and what you should do from here.
What to Expect: Every situation is different, and so is every working. Timeframes vary depending on the nature of the work — some shifts are felt quickly, while others unfold over days or weeks. You will be notified when work has begun, and we will check in with you throughout the process with updates and a final report once the work is complete.
Depending on what is prescribed, you may be asked to participate in small ways on your end — such as keeping a candle lit, avoiding certain things, or maintaining a specific practice during the working period.
A Note on the Work: We do not take on all requests. Work intended to harm without justification, or that conflicts with our spiritual integrity, will be respectfully declined.
