Join us for three classes exploring the history, practical knowledge, and spiritual work behind making oils, baths, floor washes, sprays, powders, and petitions within Hoodoo.
We’ll examine where these practices come from, how they’ve developed, and my methods for preparing and working with them. Each session brings together historical discussion, formulation, demonstrations, and time for questions.

Oil Making Intensive
Thursday, September 10 | 5:30–8:30 PM ET
Explore the history, science, and spiritual practice of making conjure oils, including carrier oils, infusion methods, ingredient safety, and spiritual formulation. We’ll prepare Van Van, Money, and Fast Luck oils.
Spiritual Baths, Floor Washes, & Sprays
Saturday, September 19 | 3:00–6:00 PM ET
Explore the history and preparation of water-based spiritual formulas for people and places. During the hands-on portion, we’ll prepare an Uncrossing Bath, White Bath, and Road Opener Bath.
Powders & Petitions
Saturday, September 26 | 3:00–6:00 PM ET
Learn about the history, ingredients, and ritual processes involved in making powders and writing petitions. We’ll create a name ward, Money Petition, Health Petition, Call Me Powder, and Protection Powder.
Virtual Class Pass — $225

Attend all three classes live online, with historical instruction, formulation demonstrations, and opportunities to ask questions.
Physical supplies are not included with virtual registration.
In-Person Class Pass — $399
Save $48 compared with three individual in-person tickets.
Attend all three classes in person, work directly alongside me, and leave each session with the preparations you’ve made. All class supplies are included.
The Oil Making Intensive will be held at People’s Solidarity Hub. Locations for the September 19 and September 26 classes are to be announced, but will be in the Durham, NC area.
These classes welcome beginners as well as practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of formulation and spiritual application. No previous product-making experience is required.
All three classes are reserved exclusively for Black participants.
One pass covers one participant’s attendance at all three September sessions in the selected format. You do not need to purchase individual class tickets separately.
